HylaFAX is the leading fax server for Unix-like computer systems. It uses a client-server design and supports the sending and receiving of faxes. 

It is open source, free software and can be used commercially without charge.Hylafax allows you to fax anything you can print. Additionally, any incoming faxes are converted to PDF and emailed to you or the email account(s) you designate.

The initial setup for Hylafax will involve a Hylafax server and a Hylafax client. We use a Raspberry Pi server with a modified version of Debian installed. Connected to the Raspberry Pi is a USB modem (or more) that is plugged into your analog phone line. We can either connect the Hylafax server to your network with a wired or wireless connection, allowing more options for placement.

There as various clients to choose from, all with varying degrees of options and possible configurations. We will help you choose the appropriate client depending on your needs. Using Hylafax is very simple because the client installed on your PC acts as a printer. So any document, email or file that you can print, you can fax.

Training involves all your employees, setting up cover sheets (if needed) and also covers the client installation on all your workstations.
